Jeramy Karshner has spent years building a fighting career across multiple combat sports. On October 10, the veteran returns to New Line Cagefighting with a familiar responsibility: defending his championship.
The reigning NLC professional heavyweight boxing champion faces Jeremy Linville at NLC 49 at the Boyd Convention and Arts Center in Catlettsburg, Kentucky.
Karshner brings experience in boxing, MMA, kickboxing and, most recently, bare-knuckle competition. His professional boxing career began in November 2014, and his record stands at 9–7, with seven victories by knockout. Nearly 12 years after his debut, he continues taking on new challenges while adding to his championship résumé.
For NLC fans, his accomplishments are especially familiar.
Karshner has won all five of his NLC professional boxing bouts. That run began with a second-round TKO over William Myers on September 17, 2022, followed by a first-round stoppage of William Holtzclaw that December.
Those victories set the stage for his championship breakthrough. On March 11, 2023, Karshner stopped Alex Davis in the second round to capture the vacant NLC professional heavyweight boxing title.
Winning the belt was only the beginning. Karshner defeated Davis again by unanimous decision at NLC 21 on December 9, 2023. He followed that performance with another unanimous-decision victory over Justin Richwine at NLC 22 on March 9, 2024, securing his second successful title defense.
His success also extended into NLC’s four-man professional kickboxing tournament.
Karshner defeated Quentin Campbell by unanimous decision at NLC 27 on August 3, 2024, then returned at NLC 30 on November 9 to face Matt Garretson in the tournament final. Another unanimous-decision victory secured the tournament championship, giving him a major NLC accomplishment in a second striking sport.
Together, those results amount to seven victories in seven NLC professional boxing and kickboxing bouts.
Karshner continued adding to his résumé outside the promotion, defeating Seth Pelfrey in December 2025 to capture a Kentucky state heavyweight boxing title.
This summer brought another new challenge. On June 19, 2026, Karshner made his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut against Prince McLean at BKFC Fight Night Nashville. The matchup was the first ironweight bout in BKFC history. Although Karshner came up short, the appearance added bare-knuckle experience to a career already spanning several disciplines.
Now his attention returns to the NLC heavyweight boxing championship and a challenger coming off a finish of his own.
Linville earned a first-round TKO over Dillon Pumphrey at NLC 47 on July 18. At NLC 49, he has the opportunity to follow that victory by taking the belt from an established champion.
Karshner enters with a title to protect, an unbeaten NLC boxing record and years of experience behind him. Linville has the chance to end that run and leave Catlettsburg as the new champion.
NLC 49 takes place October 10, 2026, at the Boyd Convention and Arts Center in Catlettsburg, Kentucky. Fights begin at 6 p.m.
